Informal Owners Association
Trident Marine produced three variations on the Angus Primrose designed 35 foot hull since the late 1970s: the Warrior (centre cockpit), Challenger (aft cockpit) and Voyager (pilothouse). The yachts were still in production until around 2002, and the Warrior and Challenger have a good reputation as long distance blue water cruisers. With their long keel, moderate draught and displacement, and good ballast ratio, they are considered excellent modern examples of the traditional cruising yacht..
This informal association was instigated by a series of feature articles published in Practical Boat Owner (Dec 00, Jan 01 and Feb. 01 issues)
We are keen to contact as many other owners as we can - from all parts of the world - to learn of their whereabouts, exchange ideas and boat modifications, and also to help each other with maintenance advice and perhaps the sourcing of specific Warrior, Challenger, and Voyager parts.
This site is still under construction, but should be functional enough :)
Any (sensible!) suggestions about additions or modifications are welcome
(By the way, the site looks and behaves better in Firefox than that damned Internet Explorer :( )
If you email pics please process them first!(eg 800px wide, less than 400kB). The monthly bandwidth limit was exceeded partly because of receiving hi-res images up to 7Mb!
